My Apple and Yew wands

These are two of the wands I have made. The one with the copper spiral is from a Yew branch gifted to me by one of the ancient yews in Kingley Vale. Yews stand for everlasting life, and the continual wheel of birth, growth, death and rebirth.

The feathered wand was crafted from my beloved Apple tree just after she fell. The feathers are from tawny owl, greater spotted woodpecker and a little spotted grouse whose name I can never remember. All materials used are natural, and when it was thought necessary to used glue, we mixed frankincense powder into the glue. The wands have been blessed and empowered, and already some workshop participants have noticed a difference in their lives since creating them.

About forfedha

I never know what title to give myself. Basically I am an Earthkeeper, I guess. My objective is to share my discoveries and beliefs with others. I connect with trees and Earth energies, teach Celtic Earth Magic, Tarot and Munay-Ki, and honour the ancient ways as much as resonates with me. Always searching, forever marvelling at the gifts I am given. That's it really.
